Ideal for children's plans
I bought these to help my kids keep up with their homework schedule. They're ideal for a number of reasons: they're easy to set up, easy to read, not too loud, and the alarm rings briefly but not too loud. The timer gives a good idea of how much time is left, even for children who don't have a clock yet. No batteries (YES!) and small fold out legs so it can stand on a table. There is a ticking noise, but after a day or so we don't even notice the tick, tick, tick. I am very happy with these timers.
