I bought this gas cap for my 5 year old imported car because it doesn't come with a mounting cap. Gasoline is expensive these days and some scammers try to steal gas from your car. The lid fits perfectly and when latched, attempting to open it will only result in the lid spinning freely. I would suggest you spray on some WD-40. In the keyhole so that when you insert the key, the door in the keyhole slides out more easily. You will need to attach a straw to the WD-40 sprayer so the lube can be squirted into the keyhole. I wish this thing was cheaper, but there isn't much competition in this space.
