Review on Charging Controller Protection Undervoltage Automatic by Todd Mohr

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very simple, great way to control the load on a solar array.

You need to add some non-conductive supports and mount to something. Works as advertised. This is very handy for off-grid solar panels when you want to turn something on (fridge or dehumidifier) while you're away, but don't want to drain the battery. All of the entry-level inverters I've worked with stop supplying AC power when the battery voltage drops to 10.5V. kills the battery. So you can adjust the tension as you like. in my case 12V or about 50% charge. Provide an output to a DC controlled AC relay (the switch will cut off the AC power if the DC voltage fails).
