I just installed this TB in my 1985 C4 and I've definitely got this car running at idle . My original TB didn't fare well in the smoke test around the shaft seals, so I took a chance, so far so good. My C4 never idled but this took care of it. For those of you who said your original clutch didn't match yours, I bought an Eckler Premier Quality Products 25107026 Corvette Induction Power Clutch and it was actually tight, but after a while in the sun I put it on and it still looks good from better. Will repost if anything goes wrong but I think it was a good investment. I was very lucky and got it on sale for 175.00 but I see it's worth over 300 again. I hope it will help.
