Review on Efficient One-Handed Clamping: Bessey EKT55 Edge Clamp Review by Erik Snyder

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Bessey EKT55 clamp is the best of the clamps

This clamp meets certain requirements quite well (at a considerable price). I mainly used it to install bezels on cabinets. It is easy to use and lightweight considering its size. The mechanism worked well. My only disappointment was that he didn't push as hard as I had hoped. This may be because he was trying to capture the finished surface. I think raw wood would be better. I would be concerned if I needed strong printing and the inside of the cabinet was laminated. I tried the Gross Stabile model and picked it up to get this. I'm glad I did.

Pros
  • No damage to clamping surfaces
Cons
  • Slightly torn
