Hard knife - like a handle
What I like most about this knife is the lack of sharpness above the handle but below the blade. This is useful for beginners and long term timers. Helps to use this lower edge for detail that differs slightly from a straight blade. My hands hurt and it's a pleasure to use when it happens. I like it.
