Review on Truck Bed Storage Box: UnderCover SwingCase SC203P for 2015-2020 Ford F-150 (Passenger Side, Black) by James Cruz

It was a good box that worked as advertised. Installation was fairly easy, but I have a recommendation: set the hinge arm loose (it has plenty of room to adjust), install the latch, lower the box and close it. Once the box is in place and the latch is closed, tighten the top and bottom pivot bolts (you will need to remove the box to tighten the middle one). This saves you the hassle of adjusting the locking bracket and helps it align itself. Also, one more suggestion: before you install the screws, coat the threads of everything with anti-seize compound so the screws will come out easily after years if you ever decide to remove the crate (at least that's what you do in the northern states, where things rusts a lot more). I did this and then went as far as covering the back of the bolts inside the body with Fluid Film for added protection (accessible through the taillight hole). In my opinion this is a great product. Understand this isn't a thick steel box that I would store expensive items in, but it's great for things like jumper cables, tow straps, harnesses, gloves and small tool kits. The lock is decent, but the box is just plastic. So if you store an expensive jumppack or similar in there, a good pry bar will pry it open. This was perfect for me as I have a regular F-150 cockpit with limited storage. Perfect for my use. Hope that helps!
