I replaced the CAT5 cable with this one and now I can use my NAS in my office as a media server in my living room on my streaming device. With the old cable I had a lot of buffering and lag. You are gone! This stuff works great. I was a bit apprehensive before buying it because it didn't appear to be CAT6 certified but promised CAT6 speed. I'm a believer now. I had to cut one of the RJ45 connectors to run the cable through a 1/4" hole in a couple of walls, but I crimped a new one (pattern B) and it works great. The center twisted pair splitter was a bit difficult to bypass when plugging in the new connector, but I got it right the first time. I could use wholesale cord, but I don't need more than 250 feet of cord, so I used this one. I'm glad I did.
