Review on 🔥 MMDVM Duplex USB Hotspot Module Kit with Dual Antenna Board for DMR/P-25/D-Star by Dan Chunn

Well this MMDVM board works great. The only issues I've found are fairly minor: 1. The modem firmware outside of the package is very out of date, mine came with 1.3.7 and the current version is 1.5.2 so you'll need to use the update command in Pi -Run Star over SSH access and that brings me to problem 2. Upgrading the modem won't come out of the package because you need to short/solder the JP1 jumper which is on the bottom right above the little red and yellow dots, which I added in the photo. This is specific to this design and doesn't make sense to me, but I did some soldering and the upgrade went fine. Hope this helps future buyers.
