I have bottle, test tubes, thermometers etc.; from a full kit Craft a Brew I bought from an APA recipe a few years ago. Most of the other 1 gallon kits I've found at Revain are extracts/concentrates that taste $^&$%^# awful. So when I saw these recipe kits at Revain I thought I'd give it a try, it's a much more enjoyable home brewing experience. with real grain and hops as a wort concentrate. I followed the instructions that originally came with the kit - the same as on their website, and focused on small differences from this particular kit, such as: B. adding hops multiple times and what not. The finished product was very good, I'm not putting Ballast Point out of business just yet, but everyone who tried it loved it. As always used 0.5 liter Grolsch flip top bottles, this easily filled 6 of them with leftovers to save money considering 3.75 liter gallons could probably fill a 7th, but I didn't want to risk sucking out all the sediment in the bottle. The conditioning in the bottle seems to give it a slightly different flavor than the IPA you can buy in a bar or shop, but overall I liked it. I definitely recommend giving them at least an extra week or more of bottle aging beyond the directions, the ones I let sit longer and drank last ended up tasting better. PS - Not that it matters much, but their packaging design is solid too. PPS - disinfect your stuff, friends
