Review on LEXIVON Socket Chrome Vanadium 13 Piece by Anthony Boylan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The price does not bite

Ordered last week (July 2021), when it arrived I did not have an E18 connector, and in its place was a second E16 - I contacted Lexivon (contact information included in the package ) and after apologizing they immediately sent me the correct E18, told me to keep the extra E16 and they were in constant contact with me to the point where they told me the item shipped yesterday was less than a week after receiving original order. Lexivon claims their set meets or exceeds US national standards, the set is made in Taiwan (America's Lane, as opposed to China). Overall I rate the build quality of this set better than some of the older SK torx sockets I own I used several of these yesterday and they seem to be holding up much better than the SK although they are so old I have no idea Where did I even get them from as they weren't a complete set I bought them instead. Bonus: Comes with a very nice solid case, each socket is labeled accordingly along with the adapters, everything has its place in the case which uses slide locks to open/close making it very easy to use unlike some others that do Open Box Those little thumbtack boxes that have the outlets thrown out to the outside areas of your garage/shop if you manage to pry the box open. Service IMO about "Excellent". Thank you Lexicon. I loved this purchase and experience with Lexivon so much I just ordered a 3/8" torque wrench from them, hopefully it's as good as sockets. I'm curious, the wrench was $30 and just this morning I was in a store that was selling a Chinese made wrench for $99 - I'm starting to think I may have just found a new set of tools that I can buy, I will check the wrench when it arrives.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • There are nuances
