I have tested with the Cisco SG300 PoE+ switch and various PoE devices. Case 1: An R310 Wireless PoE Access Point from R310 has been connected to the downlink. Unfortunately, the bandwidth for this device was not sufficient. Case 2: Two (2) 10" Control4 T3 home automation touch screens connected to this unit and both worked fine. Touch screens have been claimed to draw a maximum of 13 watts each. So every case is different but this is a great device that you should have on hand, especially if you are a home automation or networking professional.
