Was looking for a good glass to sip on their home made craft beer. I recently got into homebrewing. Homebrewing takes some time and effort, although the results are worth it - it's a 'craft'. since it takes time and effort, i wanted something special in the form of a glass for the home-made beer. I've read many reviews of this jar and found that the vast majority were very positive so I settled on a set of 4. got it today - and the positive feedback was spot on. great quality glasses. I would buy more without hesitation. Just the right thickness. Some reviews say they are too skinny but they don't seem skinny to me. I have thin wine glasses - they are not wine glasses. I think you can find that thickness in a bar or restaurant for a beer glass like this - just right. thin enough not to be a clumsy brick in the hand; thick enough to hold up when treated like "glass". They hold exactly 16 ounces. Some reviews say they aren't, but they may have sent the wrong glasses(?) as I think this glass also comes in a smaller size. no broken glasses. They were well packaged in what looks like a factory sealed box, which was then in an Amazon box surrounded by those airbags; good to go The shape of the glass concentrates the aroma of the contents of the glass - like a wine glass. I love this as I am also a wine drinker and appreciate the difference the right glass can make. Of course, the difference is not 10 times better, but enough to increase drinking pleasure. Some reviewers might find the price a bit high ($32 for $4-$8 a jar), but I couldn't find it anywhere on mine. Still, these quality glasses cost me $8 each - I've seen them cost more than other online retailers. the glass is clear and the glass fits evenly. Some reviews mentioned rings in the glass, or maybe the glass doesn't sit flat on the table, but the glasses I got were clear, unstained and sat flat. I like Libbey glasses - in general. I think they make a good mid-range utility product. Conclusion: Great beer glass, highly recommended. A good gift for a beer lover - even if you're gifting yourself (will update this review if my experience changes)
