It's really annoying when you ride your bike and then have to stop to check your phone to get directions. When you walk you can just take your phone out of your pocket and look at it, but when you ride a bike it's a lot more tiring. You have to stop, get off your bike, maybe take off your cycling gloves, pull out your cell phone and look at the navigation app. This bicycle smartphone stand solves this problem and I am very satisfied. This allows you to place your phone on the steering wheel and use turn-by-turn navigation as if you were driving a car. Like I said, I wouldn't drive too fast with a phone attached to the steering wheel, but it's great for walking. One of the main things I was concerned about with this mount was the security of my phone. If you're riding your bike through a busy city and you drop your phone, it's probably gone forever. This mount attaches very securely to your bike and also holds your phone very securely. The two adjustable side clips do most of the work, but there's also a strong elastic strap to keep your phone in place. This secures the phone on all four corners, and with the clip on the side of the phone, your phone doesn't go anywhere unless you want it to.
