Review on Andersen® Reachout Receiver Panel Present by William Gildea

This worked great as a replacement for the lock and receiver on my patio doors. It was built in 1998 so it was the right kit to buy as the instructions say it is for doors made before 2005. While the instructions state that a 1/4" hole may need to be drilled in the door jamb, the pipe fit, which my door did not. It was very easy to fix. I swapped too. Andersen Tribeca® Style - Thumb Latch for Sliding Doors - Stone. It was easy too. However, the thumb lock doesn't feel as solid as the rest of the locking mechanism and receiver. I'll buy a second thumb latch in case the first one doesn't last long, I have it handy.
