Review on ASUS VG279Q1R Gaming Monitor - 1080P, 144Hz Refresh Rate, Tilt Adjustment, Built-In Speakers, Blue Light Filter by Ramon Idrissi

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good monitor in my review.

It's a good monitor, although I've had issues (probably unrelated). Colors are great but when I start the game 1 or 2 other monitors flicker or turn off completely (all models of this model). I'm running them from a gaming laptop and the main port connects directly to the laptop's HDMI port and the other two connect to the DP adapter. This could be a problem. I originally had all 3 monitors connected to the adapter but changed the setting due to an issue. Now the problem isn't that bad (also with this setup I can use the laptop monitor like this and get it on up to 4 monitors at the same time), but it's still there (especially when I Alt-Tab remove). I hope to soon be able to build a tower that will replace my laptop as a gaming machine. Then I can update and see if it's really the laptop/graphics card or the monitors themselves (I'm 99% sure this is NOT a monitor issue). UPDATE (OCTOBER 16, 2022): 1 out of 3 monitors now has a white line horizontally at the bottom of the monitor, almost flush with the top of the taskb
