FYI, this is an initial review after the first few hours of use. can be updated later. However, opening the Amazon box revealed that the TV box fits snugly from back to front, so there was no wiggle room, the space between the sides was a few inches, and there was even an inch of free space from top to bottom the TV box had the potential to pull inward. C'mon Revain, do you package electronics that may move during shipping? One would have expected a better pillow to avoid possible damage. However, the product was not damaged. In the box, the monitor and components were stacked nicely, many thanks to Asus! Easy assembly and connection (the main plate threads into the lower shaft with either a large flathead screwdriver or a wing nut at the end of the screw, just by hand). Initially firm and seemed firm enough. ALL cables included: DP, HDMI, DVI, M2M audio, overall very nice to have everything included. It's just a replacement for my 17.3" IPS 75Hz laptop screen, so going to a 27" TN 144Hz screen is a big change. The most notable thing at the moment is the picture quality, as this is obviously a comparison of TN and IPS, IPS is much better in terms of color depth. The main downside of the monitor at the moment is that I need a DP to DP mini cable instead of one normal DP cable since my laptop has a mini connector. I would speed up the connection, Asus, so the monitor is limited to 60Hz since I'm using h HDMI and not DP or DVI. Generally very satisfied so far. The only "regret" I might have is going for a 27" screen instead of a 24" (I know it sounds weird wanting something smaller, but when it's running at 1080p, will it improve the overall picture on a TN or IPS screen as the smaller of the two will have a higher ppi so a bit sharper image but as this is used for everything and gaming wasn't the only reason to buy it doesn't really matter also i tried a lot of things to keep in mind before buying and although i have a mini DP connector for max refresh rate be aware the HDMI limit is 60hz (as mentioned) so make sure you get what for You pay upgrade with either DP or DVI once the right settings are found it's just that it's not the best at the moment anyway but I bought it for the refresh rate and response time so I ha havent tried it either The use of the G-Sync feature along with all the other things that came in this thing has not yet been defined.
