A good budget pan for people with reasonable expectations.
To be clear. This is a budget bowl. Many of the reviews seem to come from people whose expectations are way beyond their budget. Budget pans are ultra-thin and have virtually no heat-dissipating properties. They are mainly intended for storing and boiling water. I have a few of these and use them to boil water for canning, I use them as a water bath for my sous vide oven and for steaming crab. Do things like that well. The lid fits well. Don't buy one of these if you plan to make soup, gravy, or anything that will burn.
