Looks stable and strong enough

I got this after having an HP Pavilion with a terrible Ralink card that just couldn't support WiFi connection. I despaired that one day I could just work on my computer without having to deal with Wi-Fi. This HP problem is common and their devices won't accept any other card. Finally, for the price of a very good candy bar, I have an unobtrusive accessory that I can use when I'm not at home and that has been stable in difficult conditions. I start, Feel more secure with my connection and can focus on the task at hand instead of the computer. Nice little adapter. It's not as fast as my Mac on a speed test, but it's pretty cute - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Update for HP Pavilion owners - like me. I'm still glad I bought this because it makes my connection more stable. I think there is a problem with these computers that can support wireless connection. I blamed the built in RaLink WiFi card and that's why I bought this USB dongle. It really improved the situation, so I'm happy. However, there are times when all I can do is restart the entire computer. I'm dual booting Ubuntu and Windows and the problem seems to be platform independent. times at home times on the way with my Verizon Hotspot. It happens with or without Open DNS. Just a computer dog when it comes to WiFi. Wired connection is always ok although limited to 100Mbps - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Another update; This isn't a problem for everyone, but it will help some. This adapter went through a wash and dry cycle last night and appears to have worn out just as well. We have very hard water.
