Review on LG 27UL500-W 4K UHD IPS Monitor πŸ” with Freesync, HDR, Tilt Adjustment, and Wall Mount Compatibility by Chris Miller

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I can't look at my old monitor like I used to.

After years of using regular laptops, I finally bought a powerful Dell Inspirion. I love having a monitor connected to my laptop while working and at 3840 x 2160 my old monitor wouldn't do. After a long search I decided on this one. Two months later I am very impressed with my choice. For someone like me who's always bought cheap 20 inch monitors or something, that's a BIG thing. As you can see from the photo, it puts my 15.6 inch laptop to shame. You know what you get when you have a small office space. The optics are great - very sharp. I never noticed how blurry my old monitor was until I started using it. As soon as I plugged in the HDMI cable, it worked straight away, and after a few minutes of adjusting the brightness and contrast, I was in business. The stand is stronger than it looks and the monitor itself has 2 HDMI ports and a DisplayPort port - more than enough for me. After two months of regular use I am very satisfied with this monitor. This is my first LG purchase but if this continues it could become my new favorite brand.
