I just received this sourdough kit and I really want to use it for my new fermentation projects! Nice little features to add a thermometer and climb gauge are a nice touch. I'm happy with the size of the glass jar and the opening which makes it easy to serve, stir and general handling while getting your hand in. The glass isn't very thick, so for everyday use I have to be careful not to damage it. I am also satisfied with the bamboo lid. Good closure without being completely airtight to ensure adequate ventilation. I had a delivery problem due to the missing cap with my package. The seller responded very quickly with a full replacement that exceeded my expectations.
