Great little UV lamp, too hot for a crested gecko.

Purchased this item after my crested gecko had problems with poor lighting. You have to keep him away from his tank so he gets too hot. Are you looking for something that can be used as both a heat lamp and Auva and B lamps I would recommend this article but if you are looking for a UVA and UVB lamp I would not recommend this unless You want your amphibian to overheat. If you are looking for something to attach to your aquarium that will keep your reptiles warm and give them the UVB UVA radiation they need then this lamp is definitely for you.
