Review on Filter under the sink Aquaphor Crystal Eco by Mateusz Rzeczycki ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A high-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

Long chose the filter under the sink. In the end, I decided that I don’t need reverse osmosis, I don’t really want to drink semi-distillate. This filter has a micromembrane that filters bacteria by 100% (that is, absolutely everything) - and this is not marketing, but test results, the protocol is in the instructions, you can download it on the site if you wish. I also realized that with my water of medium hardness there is no point in a softener. First, these ion exchange resins exchange calcium ions for sodium ions rather than removing them. Secondly, in practice, they work for the first few weeks and hundreds of liters, and then only frustration from them. Thirdly, I am sure that water of moderate hardness is absolutely physiological for us, people throughout their history drank water from rivers and lakes, in which a lot of everything was dissolved. But very soft water is familiar only to Tibetans who drink streams flowing from glaciers. Fourthly, I am not ready to sacrifice one of the three filter modules in favor of an ion-exchange module, having lost the quality of filtration. As a result, at the output I have normal, moderately tasty, but guaranteed safe water, which, for example, can be used to drink a small child. And the scale . well, it’s not at all difficult for me to boil a kettle of citric acid once a month, and it’s like new again. Regarding the installation - on the official website of Aquaphor you can order a free installation of the filter, you just need to check if the store is on the stop list (for example, it contains )

Pros
  • - convenient replacement of modules with a half-turn (not tested yet) - beautiful and practical faucet included - free installation when buying in normal stores
Cons
  • - a module with a micromembrane is not cheap, but this is understandable, given that the membrane is imported
