Our African Gray loved this thing. Or hated it - hard to say. (Just kidding - he was obviously entertained.) The thing is, he spent all his time and energy enthusiastically destroying her once she was hung in his cage. I ordered a medium size and he completely disassembled it in less than a week. We kept adding small blocks to the network to try and extend its lifespan a little more. The bottom of his cage looks like a villain's Mardi Gras parade through town. After being destroyed satisfactorily, he went to the bottom of the cage and played with all the blocks. He was a lot of fun to watch and clearly delighted. I only wish it lasted longer as a weekly refill is impractical. But I attribute the ball's short lifespan to our bird's destructive ability and not to the lack of strength of this product.
