Review on TableCraft H159H 10 Ounce Stainless Dredge by Michael Jenkins

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Caution: Sharp, sharp edges on top

When I got this I must have gotten one that eluded QC (assuming they HAVE QC). When unscrewing the lid, the bottom edge of the lid was so sharp that I was lucky I didn't cut my fingers deeply. There were very sharp metal burrs and slivers of metal from machining along the edge just waiting to rip your fingers apart. I should have just put it back in the box and returned it straight away, but being such a Mr. Fix type of guy I pulled out some sandpaper. (If you're not familiar with sandpaper, it's essentially metal sandpaper). I worked on it for 20-30 minutes (too long for a $6 item) and was finally able to get it done smoothly and securely, just as it should have been from the factory. serves its purpose - I use it to season chicken, pork, etc. with my spices. But given the condition it was received in and all the work that went into making it safe to use, I'm very generous with my '2' rating!
