I gave it to my husband for Christmas. He loves to grill and we always forget to take the meat out of the freezer. Also, I regularly get too many things done during the day and forget to defrost what I need for dinner. I've heard they work really well but I've never tried them so I thought what the heck let's give it a try. I was very careful when I took it out of the box. Looking at it I figured there must be another trick and there's no way this tray has been able to defrost my stuff faster. BUT dude, dude, I was wrong! I am shocked and impressed by how well it defrosts and how much time it saves me. I have no idea how it works, but you put frozen meat on top and it magically thaws after an hour or two. The tray is very light and easy to clean. Now it is an indispensable helper in the kitchen, which I often use.
