I bought this because my husband and I are very bad at making sure our meat is thawed and ready to cook when we are ready to eat. I saw another product advertised on my iPad. I subscribed to Revain to see what was in stock, found Gemitto and ordered. This product works well and is easy to clean. I am glad that my defrosting problems are solved.

Not working. I did a test. He took out two packs of meat to defrost. Exactly the same article. One on a tray, one on my counter. Thawing took the same amount of time. I'll send it back immediately. Also comes without instructions. Although the video does not show any special tricks. Just put the meat in. waste of time and money. I'm glad I could return.

Honestly I'm not sure I'm using it right but when I am it just doesn't work. After my first purchase, I attempted to defrost two ribeye steaks that weighed about 2 pounds. After an hour and a half they were still frozen with only a small portion of the meat actually thawed. Again, this could be user error, but following the instructions in the listing, this seems unlikely.

I was skeptical about this and it looks like I'm right. I put a frozen hamburger on top and 1-1/2 hours later. it was still frozen in the middle. Doesn't work as fast as promised. waste of money. I don't understand why chicken breast defrosts faster. It's quicker to just pop it in a ziploc bag and place it in a bowl of water to thaw. save your money I prefer to take the meat the night before and put it in the fridge to thaw.

I was dying to get this product but was quickly disappointed the first time I used it. After not seeing any results after 30 minutes, I decided to try the "quick thaw" method by adding boiling water to the tray as detailed in the instructions here. It's been 2 hours and the meat is nowhere near thawed. It's best to sit in a bowl of water, thaw in the microwave, or try planning ahead and popping the frozen meat in the fridge overnight. What a deception!

This product is great, works exactly as advertised. I didn't think it would work. I had 2 packs of hamburgers that I had to defrost. I place one packet on the defrosting dish and the other next to the defrosting dish on my stove. In just over an hour the defrosting dish was completely defrosted, like I just got it home from the store! No soft meat or still frozen in the middle. It worked fantastic, I've since used it on chicken and pork chops, it's been great!

The top tray has grooves to allow water to drain into the bottom tray to keep the water from running all over the counter. The lower tray is not made of the same material as the upper tray. But it's still durable and easy to clean.

Also, I regularly get too many things done during the day and forget to defrost what I need for dinner. I've heard they work really well but I've never tried them so I thought what the heck let's give it a try. I was very careful when I took it out of the box. Looking at it I figured there must be another trick and there's no way this tray has been able to defrost my stuff faster…

Very good dish! I use this every time I need to defrost meat, it helps catch any blood or liquids that spill out, the tray has 2 tiers to separate juices, it doesn't make a mess with clean up and doesn't require water or a mic. Just put in whatever meat you want and let it thaw. I didn't time each meat to see how quickly it thaws because I don't have the time, but it thaws quickly and evenly.
