This is a really great scanner! The DS700D has the following features: Duplex scanning - scans two-sided documents in one pass Compact and lightweight - ideal for use on a desk or on the go Powered by included USB cable - no battery or power outlet required Scans up to 10 pages per minute ( in black and white at 200 dpi) Scanning of black and white and color documents up to 8.5 x 14 inches (Legal) Scanning of common business documents, business cards, photos, ID cards, etc. High-precision scanning - up to 600 dpi optical resolution Compatibility with PC and Mac Includes DSmobile® SCAN II software for saving scanned images as PDF, JPG or TIFF (Windows® only) Also includes Presto! PageManager 9 and Presto! Biz Card for Windows and Mac One of the problems I had with the scanner was orienting the document correctly before scanning. Sometimes the document is rolled up by the feeder after it has been fed, sometimes it is not. That can be annoying. Another problem I encountered is with Presto! Bizcard software. This program doesn't even come close to meeting my needs for a digital address book, which is pretty disappointing. Everything about it is still a great scanner.
