The ramp works great on the rear passenger doors of our SUV.

I needed a ramp to help my old Beagle Dalmatian drive our RAV4. After two weeks of use, I'm mostly satisfied with my purchase. I really wanted a ramp that would work on rear passenger doors that open less than 90 degrees. As you can see in the photo there is a place where the ramp works. Our dog is 50 pounds so I usually push on the top corner next to the seat to prevent rocking. (My wife didn't do this in the picture, but it still worked.) Teaching our dog to use the treat ramp was easy. (We started with a small step, then onto the sofa and finally into the car.) The ramp is solid and therefore quite heavy. I'm a little guy with a bad back but no problems so far. The ramp comes with a clamp to hold the two hinge halves together when folded. Since the hinges are stiff, I found the clip wasn't needed and it was awkward to undo the clip every time I used it, so I just unscrewed the clip assembly and removed it. Otherwise the ramp is well designed and works well. While driving, my folding ramp stood upright behind the driver's seat. I hope this review answers some of the questions you may have.
