Good product! Best in Car Travel Accessories

Bought 2 - one for the car and one for the bed. We practiced before we got them and my dog learned to climb the ramp by walking the plank to the couch. When the ramps appeared, she climbed them without hesitation. Now she hates being picked up and just wants to climb the ladder. AstroTurf creates an excellent non-slip surface. Highly recommended for a large or heavy dog.

  • Comfortable

Saved my dog's back.

Bought for a labrador who injured his back twice jumping out of my CRV and for a collie who has a longer body than she is tall so jumping and jumping in uncomfortable at this height. It takes a bit of persuading to get the dogs up and down this ramp first, but the ramp is stable - doesn't wobble, opens and closes easily, even halfway with one hand while using the other hand to keep the dogs from closing prematurely jump before I set the ramp and the lawn prevents the dogs from slipping. My…

Pros
  • Pretty package
Cons
  • There are imperfections

I read dozens of reviews and I chose this ramp based on comments about the size and weight of the ramp. I have two dogs. An elderly 55lbs with hind leg mobility issues and a healthy 4 year old 65lbs. Both walked and/or ran the ramp with no problems. The ramp is much lighter than previous ramps I've had and is strong enough for my dogs. I have a bad back and it's easy for me to control this ramp. The artificial turf coating ensures good grip. I think the artificial grass might need some glue in…

  • Delivery was very fast

Disgusting quality - the size is not suitable for large dogs.

We have two large dogs - about 90 pounds each - so we will be providing feedback from the perspective of a large dog owner. We've got a ramp for maybe two weeks and it's already falling apart. The first day the anti-slip coating on the ramp started bubbling and yesterday the black handles that keep the ramp from sliding off the bumper fell off. Our dogs don't like the texture of the ramp - they don't walk on it. Grass or carpet would be better. We solved this problem by putting an old yoga…

Great product with a design flaw IMO.

Relatively light, strong, thin when folded, I hold it in front of the back seat. I wrote Gen 7 and suggested putting the grip on the top half instead of the bottom. I use it to load my 75# Golden in the back seat of my truck so it's tall. You hold it by the handle, release the latch and the device unfolds. But then you need to rotate it 180 degrees and put the handle on the bottom. It didn't make any sense to me. I'll move the handle to the top half. UPDATE: After six months of use it's holding

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not the best

What a wonderful product! Fits my 2016 Toyota Tacoma perfectly

The ramp is great but I bought a 71" ramp and ended up not needing this big one. I just received the 42" and it fits a 94 lb Utah perfectly for use with a 2016 Taco. The ramp is obviously smaller and lighter but just as strong as the larger ramp. It's great. I wish I did would have ordered this earlier. This is an amazing product that saves not only Yuta but me too. No more jumping, climbing etc. It is easy to use, stable, perfect width and perfect for the back seat of my 2016 Toyota Tacoma…

Reliable but has a design flaw

The concept here is really great. Unfolded it's the perfect ramp for loading and unloading our large 100lb lab onto the back of our SUV. When folded, it slides easily in the back. It looks durable and well made. The problem lies in the design. The ramp is long when unfolded, so you tend to grab it in the middle when folding it down. Trouble is, if you're not careful, this thing can slam, and it's heavy enough to break all your fingers. So it's pretty impractical to close cleanly. I'm not an…

The ramp works great on the rear passenger doors of our SUV.

I needed a ramp to help my old Beagle Dalmatian drive our RAV4. After two weeks of use, I'm mostly satisfied with my purchase. I really wanted a ramp that would work on rear passenger doors that open less than 90 degrees. As you can see in the photo there is a place where the ramp works. Our dog is 50 pounds so I usually push on the top corner next to the seat to prevent rocking. (My wife didn't do this in the picture, but it still worked.) Teaching our dog to use the treat ramp was easy. (We…

Good ramp but needs some work

This ramp is very good apart from one annoying design flaw. I'll get to this after listing the positives: 1) light weight, 2) folds easily and has an easy-to-use buckle, 3) the tread is soft but provides good grip, 4) has a comfortable carrying handle, 5) good length in unfolded form. Here are the cons: 1) The carry handle is in the wrong place (explain this in detail later), 2) Small pieces of the plastic grass tread are peeling off and sticking to the carpet in my car's cargo area. More on…
