I always check the items I receive - look at the materials used, workmanship etc .These brushes are made from low quality wood and are rough in shape with little refinement.However, from a functional point of view they work fantastic.They hold the liquid I use (shellac, water, varnish) and with slight changes in pressure and feed angle I can adjust the flow rate very good control. There is no excessive expulsion from one spot on the brush. The distribution is even and smooth. Cleaning is also easy. I am very satisfied with these brushes, especially for the price.
