Description of πŸ–ŒοΈ Artist Hake Brush Set for Watercolor - 3 Piece Painting Kit - Soft White Hair Acrylic Brush for Ceramic, Washes, Background Work, Varnish Application

Artist set of 3 hake watercolor and acrylic paintbrushes; great for ceramics, washes, background work, and applying varnishes. Crafted with soft, white goat hair that is securely stitched into the handle of the brush, the long hair can hold a huge volume of color for visible results; the handle is unlacquered to prevent chipping or cracking when soaking in water. The soft white hair picks up delicate colors and lays them down evenly without brush strokes; a life saver for wash and background work. Perfect for dry brush techniques and soft blending as well as producing clouds and water effects. This paintbrush set includes sizes 1 in, 1.5 in and 2 in.

I love her! the best products for drawing, drawing and art

So happy I bought it. I never bothered with the control fan brushes I was given when applying glaze to ceramic. I ordered these after seeing someone use them in a tutorial video I was watching. So glad I did, they work so much better than fan brushes.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • nothing

this kit spills.

I wore out my first Creative Mark Hake brushes. So I ordered another set. This kit sheds terribly. I've washed and pulled, washed and pulled, and the hair is still falling out. I am not satisfied with this set. Hopefully when I get my next set they will be better assembled.

Pros
  • Artistic set of 3 watercolor and acrylic brushes; great for ceramics, washes, backgrounds and finishes
Cons
  • Expensive

Good quality at a great price

I always check the items I receive - look at the materials used, workmanship etc .These brushes are made from low quality wood and are rough in shape with little refinement. However, from a functional point of view they work fantastic. They hold the liquid I use (shellac, water, varnish) and with slight changes in pressure and feed angle I can adjust the flow rate very good control. There is no excessive expulsion from one spot on the brush. The distribution is even and smooth. Cleaning is also…

Pros
  • This brush set includes sizes 1", 1.5" and 2"
Cons
  • Non automatic

Excellent brush with a slight flaw

I bought these brushes for washing eggs - I learned this little trick at the San Francisco Baking Institute. I love how smooth they are and how much liquid they can hold which is a great helper when working with a lot of items. I haven't had any problems with hair loss, but the thread that holds the pieces of wood together and "sews" through the bristles begins to unravel almost immediately. I can attribute it to that particular brush, but it let it down a bit. I'll try again in the future when

Pros
  • Soft white bristles capture delicate colors and apply them evenly without streaks; Washing and background work life saver
