Honestly I can't believe it works that well for the money. I bought a Herokat 45dv. I only used it with 220V. I am not a professional fitter or welder. More like an advanced homeowner. I bought this because I have heavier gear and needed better metal cutting ability for too long. So I ordered it. I've spent $200 on far worse things. It arrived quickly and is smaller than I expected. Set it up in minutes and mow with a lawnmower blade for some practice. I've used it quite a bit, from cutting and installing a 1/8" board to repainting my dump truck to cutting off some very large bolts etc. It's almost replaced my angle grinder and saw. Several hours of use and no problems. Cuts the slab like a razor. Thanks to the reviewer here, I use a 2x4 with clips on each end as a guide for long blade breaks. Thanks, great tip! I don't usually write reviews, but this thing is worth it. You will be shocked how easy and cool it is. You have no idea how you lived without a plasma cutter. This is similar to what I felt after purchasing my first miter saw. Also, I read in other reviews that dry air is important. That's why I use an additional dryer on the compressor. Dude, that's awesome!
