Review on 🌡️ Honeywell 5-2 Day Programmable Thermostat for Home by Van Masterson

Good inexpensive programmable thermostat. This is a direct replacement for the Honeywell RTH111B1024 non-programmable thermostat (shown in a picture). You can leave your old wallboard and wiring connected, just unplug the old one and plug in this programmable, it takes 10 seconds to program and another minute! The main reason I bought this one and no other. The cost is another good reason. Extremely simple, almost self-explanatory programming for weekdays and weekends. Wake up, go away, come back, sleep. Everything is nicely stated in the instructions and easy to remember after one use. Easy installation, instructions are good. It is compatible with most ventilation and air conditioning systems. There are many variables in wiring, so you need to be careful, especially if you're not replacing one of the same brand and style. The thermostat works great with my Mr. heater via 2-wire connection in my workshop. This allows very low settings to be used. I appreciate being able to set it to 45 degrees when I'm not around. Saves energy! 45 when I'm away, 60 when I'm home. Easy. At home, of course, you want it to be much higher. 😁 There is a weird spot on the screen in the corner as others have mentioned. I don't mind, it's in the garage, very cheap and functional.
