TL;DR -- Overvoltage is a necessary evil, but this power supply takes it -a little- out of my comfort zone. PS -- DO NOT read this review and then buy any "5V 15A" power supply if you are trying to power something voltage sensitive like the Raspberry Pi series - you will complain of under voltage with many of these power supplies , if you can't, tweak it a little higher. This is probably the power supply you really need. Like many others, I bought it to control my Raspberry Pi 4B. I also have an 11.6" touchscreen and a fairly good quality USB headset that plugs into and is powered by the Pi's USB port. My noisy, bright, and busy setup draws 1.85A from my 5.15V desktop PSU. It's a 5V power supply, why a 5.15V power supply? voltage drop. When direct current is passed through cords, plugs, etc., some voltage is lost. This can result in a 5V power supply capable of delivering 20A with 0.01% linear regulation. to indicate low voltage on something like a Raspberry Pi. A little extra momentum will help overcome these falls. Its high load condition drops to around 5.35V. In my experience, 5.15V was more than enough to overcome voltage drops on cables and connectors and ensure very reliable operation at a 2A load. I would like to see a peak of 5.25V, 5.4V The peak voltage is 8% over voltage and only drops slightly under heavy load. Ices (extensive consumer electronics repair experience) are more than capable of handling this level of surge voltage, but they reduce it and don't provide much headroom for small current surges from your home's AC power.
