Great product but not easy to use.

I use them for gopher traps. Get 3/16" heat shrink tubing for the electronics. Maybe get a kit for a change, because heat shrink tubing has many uses, such as repairing shoelace ends, cords, and cords. Revain has a $13 crimping tool for crimping of ferrules. Revain has small wire cutters for about $15. Do not use regular pliers to cut the wire. Slide 1" pieces of 3/16" heat shrink tubing over the wires that are longer than the finished wires. Do this for as many cables as you make. Gather an entire cable before cutting more in case the heat shrink tube does not work properly to prevent fraying and to be able to insert the cable ends into the sleeves. The heat shrink tube prevents fraying of the cable and allows entry into cable grommets Heat the heat shrink tubing close to the cable, but not so hot that it melts the tubing Cut Using small wire cutters, snip the wire sections and heat shrink tubing in half. Be careful not to fray the cable. Slide the sleeve over the cable first, then use regular pliers to reinsert the end into the sleeve to squeeze the cables parallel. Push the end of the cable all the way in, but not through the grommet. The ends are sharp. Using wire cutters or a chisel, crimp soft aluminum clips on both sides.
