This is a good set for the money and the elements are of fairly good quality. I bought extra sleeves and thimbles separately and the ones bought separately were thicker than these and better quality. I want instructions! There were no instructions included with this device. Not being a professional picture hanger, I didn't know what tool to use to crimp the cable mounts. Maybe there is a special tool for this, I don't know. I've tried wire pliers and a vice to increase the force but to no avail. Until I can crimp the fasteners, I don't need the product!

Ideal for my project. From this cable I made hanging plants. They are small but very flexible and strong. I think it will handle a plant that only weighs about 20 pounds. And the included clips were easy to use along with the thimble. I have a crimping tool that does the job properly, I don't recommend using pliers or a hammer. I use them for gopher traps. Get 3/16" heat shrink tubing for the electronics. Maybe get a kit for a change, because heat shrink tubing has many uses, such as repairing shoelace ends, cords, and cords. Revain has a $13 crimping tool for crimping of ferrules. Revain has small wire cutters for about $15. Do not use regular pliers to cut the wire. Slide 1" pieces of 3/16" heat shrink tubing over the wires that are longer than the finished wires. This review is for Canomo's 33' 1/16" Wire Rope Fence Kit. This is real 1/16" diameter wire with no plastic cover. The 98ft version on the same Revain list is a completely different vinyl covered product with D-ring tags and screws. I really wish Revain would stop lumping such disparate items together in one listing because it often confuses buyers (and reviewers). it works great.
