the best water filter and i have tried them all! To make it simple, I'll summarize: 1) It works as advertised / alkaline levels 8.0+. The filter raised our tap water from 6.5 to 8.0 (see picture of test strip). 2) It tastes good and is economical. The taste is much better than well-known brands like Pur or Brita filters! I'm a big fan of well known alkaline water brands and it tastes just as good as these brands at a much better price, especially if you're consuming 1 gallon of water a day. 3) It is quick and easy to install and works with both Pur and Brita water jugs (see image)
