The old school way of making crushed ice!

Bought this to make crushed ice for tiki drinks. This is a very reliable way to make crushed ice without using electric or manual cranks. No blades or parts to rust! Many reviews say it's not durable. You don't need much strength to crush the ice, it's mostly done on the wrist and let the weight of the hammer do the work for you. Don't overfill your bag either. If you hit hard enough to break the ice, the bag's seams shouldn't be stressed. Cool to make an ice pack for a drink or two. But expecting many guests, I can whip up a batch of ice cream to fill a 1-gallon freezer bag in about 10 minutes. Another must-have for tiki drinks!
