Review on 📬 Gibraltar Mailboxes Patriot GMB515B01: Large Capacity, Rust-Proof Black Plastic Post-Mount Mailbox by Jeff Robeson

This box is the same as the old Rubbermaid mailbox. This was to replace an old one that had been broken by a snow plow. These are the strongest mailboxes I've found. Mines is mounted on a Minnesota style and DOT style fold out stand (check it out). They usually serve me over 10 years Minnesota. Climate and exposure to large farm implements, snowploughs, minus 40 in winter and 90+ in summer. It's way better than any other box I've tried, metal or plastic. They're also wide enough to fit in a magazine or large envelope. They have a cute little paddle on the side that lifts and stays up when the door is open, which comes in handy when the postman has already passed. The drawer doesn't lock, but I don't need it here. The box burns out after a few years in the sun. This does not affect the function, but can be cleaned with paint. Number stickers will stick if you clean the sides with alcohol first.
