They are cute. I haven't washed them yet. If I notice any corrosion or problems with use I will update my review. I just had to say that these "butter knives" are damn sharp. I cut the snot off my finger and remove the plastic bushings from them. They're honestly sharper than some of the steak knives I've had. We do not allow our children to use them. Don't get me wrong, these come in handy for slicing meat, but damn I wish I'd known when I unwrapped them. I almost cut off the tip of my finger with kitchen scissors and cut myself with sharp knives before cooking. It was so painful that I almost passed out. I had to hit it 3-4 times with the dermablast to keep it from rattling my bones. But hey, they're pretty good and the price is good enough that I got a second set (bought at the same time) for my special occasion dinnerware. You can see my old butter knife is marked Faberware on the left. These knives are on the right. I took a photo of the front and back so you can see the serrated edge of these knives. They go well beyond the edge visible from behind. When you buy it, the fork can be included when you unpack it.
