Despite all the bad reviews about this light not being square, I took a chance. Unfortunately, the negative comments were correct. After fitting the bracket to my handle, I installed it on the door, drilled the holes, installed the handle and leveled it. The handle wasn't straight, although I knew the mount was being used as instructed. I had to increase the size of the holes so the handle was straight. I made marks on the next door where the handle should be, then I placed the bracket over my marks and the bracket was removed. Even if you fold the bracket back for the next door, there are no holes. The quality of the material is good, but too imprecise for a "precise" instrument. I ended up buying an $11 plastic gauge from Home Depot that works 100 times better.
