I would not waste your money. The inaccuracy mentioned by others caused me to put this back in the box and go back to the plastic pilot holes sold at hardware stores. The case where this tool comes in has the worst catches, it only adds to the frustration when you try to take it out.

When you need to install a lot of handles or drawer pulls, having these things to install is a definite benefit. Set it once for all boxes of a certain size, and this will greatly simplify the task. Otherwise, many cabinets and drawers will require you to measure at ill-defined points, and it is easy to make mistakes and correct mistakes.

Saved me so much time! As a furniture business owner I save so much time and as time is money this item was paid for the first job I used it on. What took 2 hours to do the whole big kitchen and 2 bathrooms now takes less than an hour. Super easy to use once you get the hang of it. Robust construction. Highly recommended.

Just used this to install 9 drawers on a dresser I'm building. I've never had such accuracy with my homemade jigs that I've made before. I will say I used a clamp to hold it while drilling the holes. I used the type of clamp you would use with a Kreg. I had one on hand and it worked great. I highly recommend it.

I have used many different accessories over the years. After 26 years of working with cabinets I have found a simple and easy to use light fixture that has not disappointed me. I chose the all-aluminum model with case. The locks on the case are flimsy, but they work. Everything is well protected. I recommend so far! It comes with extra drill bushings which leads me to believe they won't last long but we'll see. Thanks for a great product that is under $300!

Machining is offset slightly so that a standard 5" grip has one side approximately 1/32" higher than the other. I taped about 4 turns of blue masking tape to the underside. It seems to work, the handles are even/transparent. I use a template to mark the location of the holes with a 3/8" chuck and gently rotate counterclockwise by hand. I mark all the spots and then drill all the holes. DO NOT attempt to drill holes. with the template set.

All measurement marks/steps are 1/16" to 3/32" from the center of the vertical ruler guide. The horizontal rule was ideal. You can also use an optional screw clamp on the vertical rail instead of relying on just one. replacement ordered. Let's see if the new one is better. Rating update: Downgraded to 2 stars. Despite all the bad reviews about this light not being square, I took a chance. Unfortunately, the negative comments were correct. After fitting the bracket to my handle, I installed it on the door, drilled the holes, installed the handle and leveled it.
