Edit: The seller contacted me and offered a full refund without returning the item. So even though it didn't match my seal, 5 stars for the customer service and their resolution. I found that for a 12" seal, Uline and Cutter seals are actually 12.5" long. Therefore, measure your existing heating elements/strips before purchasing as not all 12" seals are actually the same size. These spares run exactly 12 inches without a buffer. Original Review: I rarely write product reviews, but this was a real pain in the ass. The heating wire was too short to fit my 12" (about 1/8") gasket, you had to stretch it enough that it barely caught two nails on either side. Also, the PTFE fabric covering the heating element is too narrow to actually fit the gasket, which has to be secured with a metal strip on either side, so basically nothing fits properly. I have a 12" Uline gasket. My kit was folded in half as many other reviewers have mentioned, but for the most part I was able to get it into the right shape. I use my sealant commercially and this is my first time that the replacement set I ordered doesn't fit so badly.
