These pads have an abrasive coating that really helps break in the pads without having to turn the rotor. Brake dust is minimal, especially when compared to stock BMW M6 pads. They still occasionally squeak at very low speeds after about 1000 miles. The brakes are good, I recommend these pads to everyone. Don't forget to get the break sensor wires before you start work (you'll need 3 in total, just one on the back). The BMW breakage sensor wires are difficult to disconnect and you will most likely break one of them if you remove it. If you have low pads, it is imperative that you replace all 3 sensors.
