Now I understand why some people swear they buy it and have never looked back. The story that led me to this purchase began with the fact that I needed a .28 wrench for the gas regulator nut. I looked around and found that Home Depot doesn't have a wrench this size at any store near me. So I searched the internet and found that a key can cost $20. Since this key is only needed every now and then to change the gas bottle, I decided to use the universal pliers key from Knipex. I can't be happier with my choice. Prior to this purchase I have bought and used two Cobra pliers and I really like them too. One pair is a 10" thin profile Cobra pliers and the other is a regular 12" pair. I use the skinny 10" pair every day, and the 12" pair is used with my pair of channel locks to work with the water pump fittings. Channel locks are the longest I've had and I have to admit they're still operational, but usually in combination with one of the others. Knipex pliers are an art of engineering!
