Many years ago I bought it before it was called Motorola. It still works and I bought another one for another house that had a broken amp from another brand. With those long years without problems, I felt most comfortable spending extra money to buy more. I also have a few active return boosters that have been around for years. That being said, this model isn't as hot as the active return amps they sell. I closed the empty slots with terminators like F 75 Ohm. ****One thing to note is that I did not receive the PCT torque wrench. I'm still giving it 5 stars as I don't think they intended on giving me one and I'll be happy to remove that note if they ever send it. I have to point this out though because I've never used it before and I look forward to checking all of my links to it.
