As a landscaper and avid fisherman these locks were a godsend to me. I have six of these, four in the bed and two on the back rail of my Ford F150. I use it to enclose my gear, fishing tackle, kayaks and sometimes generators and power tools. If you have a pickup truck, you must have this lock to protect your valuables. EDIT: After first reading other reviews and concerns, installed it in minutes, my 14 year old daughter installed two of these with no problems. I've owned two trucks for four years now and they survived the northeastern winters of 2013-2015, which were brutally cold, snowy and freezing. You really need to make sure you line it up correctly when installing the hex lock or it won't close properly. To get the key in the cylinder, I keep the keys to it and my truck box on a separate bunch of keys because it fits just right. Another good tip is to spray the cylinder and bracket with WD40 immediately after installation. It protects against water and makes it easier to insert and turn the key.
