update: exchanged again. After 10 months and 30,000 km it looked about like new and was pulled immediately. Only replaced it because I never want to go through the painful process of removing another one with a dry hard bushing. Original: This one looked just like the old one and works great. The old one probably worked fine, but I wanted to replace it because of the rubber grommet. For a 3.8-liter minivan, that wasn't a fun procedure. Removing the wiper pan would make the task easier. I ripped chunks off an old stiff bushing and poured some of the wondrous secret oil into it from time to time. This part should probably be replaced every year or two to prevent this ordeal. I also replaced that hose because mine was stiff and easier to cut to remove it from the plastic valve cover. The hose was cheaper than the PCV valve. It took me about 3 hours to replace the PCV valve, hose and all 6 spark plugs without removing the wiper pan. If you have big hands or fat hands, you should probably remove it.
