Good OEM Replacement Parts

OEM Fit. Ironically, replacing the PCV valve reduces oil consumption on these vehicles, especially the 3.8 liter engine. It's just a bit difficult to get to, and since the rubber is old and hard, brace yourself for a fight. :)

Put this on a 2008 Jeep Wrangler JKU. Part .

Put this on a 2008 Jeep Wrangler JKU. The item was correct, arrived on time and was of good quality. Removing the old one is no easy task and I suggest you try the mechanical method of lifting the part straight up. We struggled for 50 minutes to remove the old one until we used the direct peek method and it took 30 seconds.

OE quality, but replacing them can be a real hassle.

Fits my 2005 Chrysler Town & Country with 3.8 liter engine. They are in the rear valve cover which is a bit difficult to access and usually the old one has had its rubber hardened making it almost impossible to get it out. You can remove the wiper cover or top air intake for better access. Another option is to purchase a new rear valve cover, which often comes with a new PCV valve. Some models of these vans have screw-in PCV valves, which work much better, but this valve is pushed in until its…

good tight fit - filter

This valve worked well. To anyone planning to replace their old PCV valve I would suggest warming up the engine first. When I replaced mine it was 32 degrees - the original one was hard to get off, I pulled straight up to get it out, not realizing I'd broken off the bottom half that was left inside. Then I had to fish it out. After I pulled it out, it was very difficult to insert the new one. I had to put a nest on it and "drive in" it with a hammer. and when I say touch, I mean I had to smack…

Take my advice and save yourself

Minivan with 3.8L engine? JUST DON'T. Take my hard-earned advice: just go to the dealer. It's anything but simple and easy. To access the PCV valve, you must remove the wipers, motor, and wiper arms. If possible, you should probably remove the hood as well. The original is mounted in a plastic valve cover on the back of the engine. It is almost impossible to remove the original from the valve cover without damaging the plastic holder it is housed in. Seriously, it looks like it's welded to the…

Works great, installation is easy AFTER removing the old

update: exchanged again. After 10 months and 30,000 km it looked about like new and was pulled immediately. Only replaced it because I never want to go through the painful process of removing another one with a dry hard bushing. Original: This one looked just like the old one and works great. The old one probably worked fine, but I wanted to replace it because of the rubber grommet. For a 3.8-liter minivan, that wasn't a fun procedure. Removing the wiper pan would make the task easier. Stock replacement

This PCV valve looks like the stock one I had in my 2007 Town & Country. As other reviews have mentioned removing the old one was a pain. I did this without removing the wiper pan so it was very tight. The old PCV valve rotated freely unlike other reviews. That meant the rubber was torn inside but not sticking to the hub. I did all this with the engine warm. I'm not sure if that helped, but it worked for me. Some lessons learned: 1. I was able to remove the old PCV valve by inserting a bolt…
